FDCAC Goes Hi-Tech!
As a result of the Harlem Renaissance 2001 project, FDCAC has acquired a new network of computers as well as a high speed T1 internet connection.  Wasting no time, the Center has included two new technology based workshops.

 

Intro to Web Design
This six week workshop meets once a week for four hours.  It is a beginning level class which combines the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver along with basic page layout principles to build visually sharp and functional web sites.  Students are introduced to the structure of the World Wide Web as well as HTML (Hypertext Markup Language).

 

Basic Computing
This workshop presents a general overview of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word.
