FDCAC ADDS WRITING THE ONE HOUR
TELEVISION DRAMA
FDCAC will
offer a workshop titled Writing the One Hour
Television Drama during the Winter 2003 cycle, which
begins the week of January 27. Kermit
Frazier will
teach this workshop on Tuesday evenings from 7-9
p.m.
FDCAC ADDS WRITING FOR CHILDREN'S
TELEVISION
Creating an engaging and instructional
children's television show requires dedication and
determination, not to mention respect for the young
audience. FDCAC
and Nickelodeon have joined forces to present Writing for
Children's Television.
This workshop will introduce writers to the intricacies
of writing, producing and executing an educational program for
young viewers.
The Winter 2003 cycle will begin the week of January
27. Norman Stiles will
teach this workshop on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 p.m.
All students must first register at the Center to gain admission to these
classes.
SOPHIA ROMMA RETURNS TO TEACH
PLAYWRITING
We are happy to announce that
Sophia Romma will return to the Center to teach Beginning/Intermediate
Playwriting during the Winter 2003 cycle, which begins the week of January 27.
Sophia's workshop will meet on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m.
Founded in 1971 by writers Fred
Hudson and Budd Schulberg, the mission of the FDCAC is to develop
African-American and other artists in the fields of writing, acting and
production, through workshops, productions, and mentoring.
